Metal-Grunt was founded in 1984 by Andrzej Grunt.

Initially, it was a family business employing just a few employees. Its scope of operation was the production cooperation with Zakłady Starachowickie STAR, JELCZ and with the military. Upon the liquidation of STAR, the company launched production of spare parts for vehicles, which since that time have been distributed by a wholesale chain under the Polmozbyt Starachowice brand.

Then, the company saw dynamic growth and increased employment to 30 staff members. The company expanded its scope of operation by food industry as it operated a chain of brand shops and a bakery (HACCP implemented). At the time, it hired 50 employees in order to meet the expectations of the most demanding clients.

Since 2000, when the Western markets opened, we have been delivering sub-assemblies for Schmidt, Helveka, Airbus, Stetter, Hartman. We have been cooperating ever since and providing them with the concrete plant and pellet machine service repairs as well as low capacity wind farms.

In 2008, we launched the production of mobile pellet production lines, with capacity of 1,000 kg/h (depending on the raw material). We marketed an innovative solution- a complete pellet granulating production line, fixed on a semitrailer chassis which may be transported by means of a truck-tractor. It is suitable for production of pellet for animal and fish feed as well as pelleting of sawdust, brown coal and production dusts.

In August 2014, the company was transformed into a limited liability company, which together with its partners (trade organisations) have been promoting and providing services related to the environment protection and the renewables. At present, the company is committed to the reduction of Co2 emission. It is developing innovative solutions for pellet production, mobile pellet machines of various capacities and other excellent, innovative solutions.
Metal-Grunt undertakes projects regarding wind power. It offers wind farms of the capacity from 1.5 kW to 40 kW for private households, etc. In the nearest future, we are going to offer turbines up to 100 kW, respecting the laws and regulations regarding the renewables. The company is an EU fund advisor.
